SA's first IDPA 6 Gun Master

Shaun Ross has loved shooting as long as he can remember. Understandably so, since firearms have always been a part of his life. Growing up on a sugar estate in Malawi, boyhood lessons naturally included learning to shoot and hunt. It was a different time, where boys were exposed to firearms at a young age, with a certain freedom to explore and learn.

SAPSA Level 3 Handgun Nationals Round 1

Round 1 of theSAPSA Level 3 Handgun Nationals was hosted by the Kraaifontein Sports Shooting Club from 18 to 19 March. The shoot consisted of 321 rounds and 18 stages.

2017 CZ RoadShow South Africa

The Mother City played host to the official launch of the CZ Roadshow hosted byFormalito (PTY) Ltd, the South African agents for the dynamic brand CZ. The Cape Town leg of the Roadshow was hosted at Kraaifontein Shooting Club and coincided with the 1st Round of the South African Practical Shooting Association (SAPSA) Handgun Championships facilitated by the Boland Practical Shooting Association.

The Hudson H9:  The striker-fired 9mm 1911 hybrid

In November 2016, new firearm manufacturer Hudson from Texas in the US announced its first pistol. The hype grew as Hudson teased the pistol’s attributes and appearance, without giving too much detail away. Hudson’s slick website was dominated by a clock that counted down until the unveiling in early January of the H9 pistol at the annual SHOT Show in Las Vegas.
